The ElementFish kitesurfing school offers you over 15 years of experience, VDWS-licensed kite instructors and probably the best kitesurfing spot in Portugal right on your doorstep - ideal conditions for a great kitesurfing holiday!

Our surf courses include professional surfing lessons from experienced, licensed surf coaches (valid Lifesaver certificates + surf instructor license from the International Surfing Federation - ISA or Portuguese Surfing Federation FPS) and of course the surfing equipment. From the first paddling, to the first take-off (attempt to get up) in white water, to the first green wave surfed, everything is possible.

Our surf course price list is per person including a surfboard and suit - but without accommodation in the camp.

The licensed surf coaches speak German and English.

The team for our kitesurfing training courses consists of highly motivated, VDWS-licensed kitesurfing instructors. We have over 25 years of training experience - so you are in the best hands!

The kite courses are usually already fully booked with the people in the kite camp and we can only accept external guests if we have enough capacity.

KITESURFING COURSES FOR BEGINNERS

You don’t need any previous knowledge for our kite courses according to the VDWS standard. But even hang gliders, wakeboarders and windsurfers without kite experience are not left out.

Training Standards Kitesurfing school

We do not leave anything to chance. The ElementFish team constantly strives to be top-of-the-line in all areas of training!

  • Fun and safety come first, no pressure to perform
  • 15 years of training experience in kitesurfing
  • Training methodology perfectly tailored to the district according to VDWS guidelines
  • Intensive, semi-individual beginner training (max. 2 students per teacher)
  • Advanced training in small learning groups (max. 4 students per teacher)
  • Video analyzes and evaluation evenings to improve driving technique
  • Latest bow kites with easy handling
  • All equipment is provided: kite, board, harness, vest, helmet, wetsuit
  • A motorboat is always there for quick and targeted assistance
  • Course participants are covered by liability insurance
  • Upon request, issue (or update) the internationally recognized VDWS kitesurfing license (entitles you to rent kitesurfing equipment worldwide)
  • Course days are Monday to Friday

Our kitesurfing courses are usually aimed at guests at our kitesurf camps, but in principle anyone interested in kitesurfing is welcome!

Sandy beach at the river mouth, without stones. Currents depending on the tide. Runs best when water is flowing. Secret spot (still). Beach break with hollow left and right handed players. (Intermediate - Expert)
