At the ElementFish Kitesurf Camp, a 100% kitesurfing holiday is the order of the day! Away from mass tourism, you can concentrate entirely on kiting and enjoy the dune landscape of the Ofir Nature Park. All kite camp packages include accommodation, kite lessons and equipment and intensive support on land, water and in the air!

All ElementFish surf camp packages include accommodation directly at the surf spot and surf lessons including the latest equipment (surfboards, wetsuits, etc.). So everything you need for a relaxed surfing holiday!

From bed to board

Beachlodge right on the spot. No shuttle service necessary, everything is within walking distance.

2 top kitespots

Kite at our wave spot or in the shallow water lagoon. It's your choice!

Fresh local food - also vegan or vegetarian

Kitecamp package

The ElementFish Kitecamp packages include accommodation in our beachlodge directly at the kite spot as well as 5 days of intensive kitesurfing lessons (including equipment).

Location directly at the kite spot (waves and flat water spots)
7 nights accommodation in a shared room (double room available at an additional cost)
20 hour VDWS intensive kitesurfing course; divided into 5 days (Mon. - Fri.)
Intensive, semi-individual beginner training (max. 2 students per teacher)
Advanced training in small learning groups (max. 4 students per teacher)
Complete kitesurfing equipment for the kitesurfing course is provided
Kitesurfing course takes place according to ElementFish training standards and only in appropriate weather conditions
Video analysis with evaluation evening in the camp to improve driving technique

Kitecamp course contents

Beginner

In our kite courses for beginners you will feel comfortable if you have no idea about kite surfing. Hang gliders, wakeboarders and windsurfers who have no experience with the kite are also in the right place here and will not be underwhelmed.

In our beginner kitecamps you will learn the basics of kitesurfing and how to safely master the board and kite.

For advanced kitesurfers, we adapt the kite course to your current kitesurfing level. We set new goals in a sensible way and structure the training methodically accordingly.

Overview of the general course schedule (Mon. - Fri.)

11:00 a.m. - Surf course session 1 - intensive group course (with joint development of the goals for session 2)

1:00 p.m. - Short lunch break on the beach (or in the beachlodge, depending on conditions/tides)

13:30h* -Session 2 with more free surf character

Work on the individual goals that the coach set with you in Session 1 in the morning

-Teachers film and provide individual support for your daily goals

3:00 p.m. - Back to camp

* IF CONDITIONS DO NOT PERMIT CONTINUING, WE WILL HAVE PART 2 LATER AFTERNOON** after the lunch break or have the video analysis / surf theory and / or pool training in the surf lodge

**3:00 p.m. - 2nd part of the session with more free surf character

Work on your individual goals that your coach set in the first part of the session in the morning

Weekly schedule Kitecamp

A typical week in our Kitecamp is roughly structured as follows:

Saturday: Arrival and check-in 2 p.m. - 12 p.m. / surfing equipment at your disposal (as always) / 8 p.m. large welcome BBQ
Sunday: 10 a.m. breakfast / welcome and briefing / SUP tour, free surfing / trial yoga session / 6 p.m. excursion & dinner with sunset
Mon. - Fri. 8 a.m. yoga / 9 a.m. breakfast / from 11 a.m. course/coaching - approx. 3 p.m. / free surfing / 6 p.m. yoga / 8 p.m. dinner
Thursday: 7 p.m. Off to a delicious traditional Portuguese restaurant / Afterwards party at the FishBar
Friday: Fun Surf Competition as a fun event for everyone, 8 p.m. homemade pizza from the stone oven / pictures and videos of the week / final evening at the FishBar

The beachlodge

The ElementFish Kitesurfingcamp is located in the dunes of the Ofir peninsula in northern Portugal - directly at the Kitesurfing spots.

Our Kitesurfing camp is a relaxed location where you can enjoy your well-deserved vacation, meet open-minded people and quickly make new contacts with like-minded people.

Location

The ElementFish Camp is located in the middle of our kite and Kitesurfingspots on Ofir beach.

Only with us you can surf, kite and stand-up paddle boarding - all right on your doorstep.

The FishBar

Our small but nice bar is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to midnight.

Here you can get snacks, fresh café, beer, wine and cold drinks.

Our Cafe Latte Macchiato is available with either oat, soy or regular milk.

Food & drink

This makes eating together an experience.

Our kitchen crew prepares a rich breakfast buffet, packed lunches and a two-course evening menu for our guests every day - also vegetarian.

Breakfast/lunch/dinner +€168 per person/week (excl. restaurant visit)

At our FishBar you can get snacks, fresh coffee, beer, wine and cold drinks at fair prices.

Please note: The kitchen in the camp is reserved for the team and cannot be used.

Breakfast buffet

Every day we prepare our legendary breakfast buffet with fresh rolls, jams, Nutella, honey, cheese/sausage cold cuts, fresh tomato-mozzarella plate, eggs or scrambled eggs, cereal, fruit, fruit salad, juice, tea, latte macchiato and café.

Our Cafe Latte Macchiato is available with either oat, soy or regular milk.

Evening menus

Saturday: the legendary welcome BBQ for our new camp guests.
On Mondays there is a well-kept “à la ElementFish” BBQ on the terrace.
Thursday: shared fish dinner in the best restaurant in the region, the Apuliense!
On Fridays we heat up our stone oven to bake pizza together with you.
Sunday , Tuesday and Wednesday our chef will surprise you

Eat outdoors

In Ofir's restaurants, which are within walking distance, you can get a fresh grilled sea bream for around €20; The matching bottle of Vinho Verde (green wine) is available from around €12. There is usually a lunch plate “prato de dia” with fish or meat and soup.

Unique location for surfing and kiting. Super motivated people for a fair price-performance ratio. And there are many alternatives if there is no wind: surfing, volleyball, spikeball, slackline, skating, SUP... Suitable for both solo travelers and groups. I recommend booking the meal package. The food on site is fantastic. Thank you for the good support and everything else :)

Where do I have to book my flight to?

It's best to book your flight to Porto Airport (OPO)

Is there an airport shuttle?

We offer you an airport transfer from Porto Airport - so you can get to us and back easily and stress-free.
Cost: €60 (per person for return transfer; Saturdays only).

Is there a bus connection from Porto to the camp?

From the center, bus lines run north towards Esposende via Pòvoa de Varzim. We will be happy to pick you up at the Esposende bus station.
